MFA, 2020

In January of 2020, I graduated from VT College of Fine Art, Montpelier, VT. This Gallery is dedicated to the work I produced over my two years as a student for my Master’s Thesis, Misogynistic Sign Posts in American Culture. This was an opportunity for me to explore more deeply, the work that has captured my attention for over 30 years. Misogyny and religion are the pillars that bear the weight of Patriarchy in our culture in other words they shape the cultural attitudes and beliefs that manifest as narrow policy that affects more than half of the population and that groups’ ability to flourish as individuals, specifically, but for all of us as human beings, eventually.

I am interested in taking my art off the walls and into community, investigating thoughtful, provocative discussion, sharing of ideas that honor individuality while creating a more egalitarian society.

Currently, I am teaching art in a private high school in Vermont. I hope to teach at colleges and other art spaces.
